kizikula is a personal project by two childhood friends (one with Zanzibari roots) who grew up in Dubai and used to dream about retiring in Zanzibar. when an opportunity to buy land on the sleepy coast of Kizimkazi came up in their early careers, there was no hesitation. decades later, they are building a few small humble guest houses and a pool and restaurant on the land that will host them and their friends and families when they are in Zanzibar and welcome guests to enjoy this quiet and rugged part of Zanzibar during the rest of the year.

We've rarely come across a place like this. everything was perfect,
the aesthetics of the place, the attention paid to every detail, all the while blending in with nature.

I had a wonderful time at kizikula with my sisters.. the place is beautiful surronded by trees right by the beach. the food was amazing and natural and delicious and the rooms were cosy and clean. the staff were super friendly and the experience was overall wholesome and heartwarming. i‘d absolutely love to go there again
My stay at kizikula was one for the books, i truly enjoyed the serene and green environment, the exceptional service & customer care from the whole team. I enjoyed watching the beautiful sunset while taking some ginger tea and the lovely snacks provided by the hotel.
Rooms: The rooms are spacious, very stylish and unique. I loved my room design and it also had a big shower both indoor & outdoor.
Nearby activities: Dolphin Snorkeling and swimming with Turtles
I have no words to describe how amazing this hotel is, as someone who has travelled a lot and stayed in many a luxurious hotel. This is the best of the best. Shoutout to all staff including Hamsa and all bar and waitressing staff. The kindest, most helpful and friendliest people you will come across. The rooms are spectacular, the food is the best we have had in Zanzibar and been here for 3 weeks and stayed in numerous resorts and hotels. If you want to unwind, be completely relaxed in a luxurious environment, this is the place for you!
